Coach Mastermind GroupAbout
I’ve spent most of my life learning what it means to show up and work hard. From nearly 20 years in farming and ranching (love for horses), to 31 years in the military retiring as a Master Sergeant and 35 years as an analytical chemist. I’ve developed an appreciation for discipline and patience. I’ve also been a triathlete for 22 years and an endurance coach for 3, so I know firsthand what it takes to balance training, life, setbacks, and goals. As a coach, I like to help endurance athletes train smarter and stay consistent. At this point in retirement, forgetting what day it is isn’t a problem—it’s basically a perk. If I know when the workout starts and where the coffee is, we’re good.
Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is pretty simple: show up every day, do the little things right, and keep pushing forward. I believe in starting the day by completing a task (make your bed), finding ways to help people around me, treating others with respect, being willing to take chances, and not quitting when things get tough. As a coach, I want to lead in a way that helps people grow, believe in themselves, and keep working to get better.
