Philosophy
I enjoy working with time-crunched athletes, which is what drew me to TriDot, the ability to maximize an athlete’s potential in less time while getting better results. As a father, coach, and personal trainer, I understand the delicate balance between work and play: train hard, train smart, and be selective about your races. Every race matters, but focusing on one main goal at a time will get you the best results. I like to have my athletes choose a few smaller races during the buildup to their “A” race. It makes training more fun, gives short-term goals to work toward, and keeps motivation high while progressing toward the long-term target. Having worked with athletes ranging from beginners to Age Groupers standing on the podium, I’ve become well-rounded at motivating athletes and helping them strategically reach their racing potential. I look at each athlete as a whole person, considering their profession, family life, outside obligations, hobbies, and nutrition. To map out training and racing in a way that fits their full life. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your best!

Experience
Coach Brady grew up playing soccer, but it wasn’t until after college in 2012 that he decided to run his very first 5K. His dad, a runner and triathlete himself, asked if he wanted to jump into a local race in the town where he lived at the time. Who knew that one little 5K would spark what has now become a lifelong passion for endurance sports? A few months after that 5K, it was on to a half marathon. That first 13.1 humbled me. It hurt, and I remember thinking, “How does anyone ever run a full marathon?” I ran a second half, felt a little better, and then some friends talked me into signing up for the Philadelphia Marathon. I was so nervous I practically wanted to vomit. How could I possibly run twenty six point two miles? With the help of a coach, and with friends guiding me along, the race went exactly to plan. I ran three hours and fifty three seconds by following my coach’s advice. Start slow, build throughout, and nail the nutrition. After finishing that race in November of 2012, my dad convinced me to try triathlon, and of course I fell in love with it. Since then, I have completed ten stand alone marathons, six Half Ironman races, and two full Ironman races. Along the way, I have learned from coaches, friends, and countless athletes. I dove into every resource I could find on running, triathlon, swimming, cycling, and nutrition. I even read The Lore of Running, which truly feels like the running bible. I have always loved learning and turning that knowledge into something that can help others. Eventually I earned my Ironman Coaching Certification, and I have continued to add more triathlon related certifications, including USA Triathlon. Sharing this passion and helping athletes improve is what fuels me. Over the years I have watched athletes set big goals and absolutely crush them. I have seen athletes qualify for and run the Boston Marathon, finish their first sprint, Olympic, seventy point three, or one hundred forty point six events, and even go from having no triathlon experience at all to completing their first full Ironman. Helping athletes chase PRs and create new ones never gets old. Words That Guide My Coaching; I want someone to look at me and say, “Because of you, I did not give up.” It is funny how day by day nothing seems to change, but when you look back, everything is different.
