ESCI Level 2About
I am originally from the Philippines and moved to the US in 2012 to pursue my graduate degrees. Taekwondo was my first love and I competed at a high level both domestically and internationally. Although my competitive spirit was not what led me to pursue triathlon in 2008, it is what has convinced me to stay after all these years. I currently participate in ultra-endurance and multiday cycling events such as Tour Divide, Doom, Mega Midsouth, and the Mountain Races.
Philosophy
I believe that an athlete can truly excel in their sport once they find joy in the process. As a coach, I do not spoon-feed my athletes but guide them to become self-sufficient and critical thinkers. My goal is to enable the everyday athlete to balance family, work, and the hobby they love most.

I have been competing in triathlons for over 15 years. I have completed several full and half distance triathlons along with dozens of sprint and standard distances. I am proud to have helped athletes conquer middle and long distance events, including a few World Championship qualifiers. I find pleasure in translating complex nutritional concepts into simple and practical strategies for training and racing. I leverage my MS and PhD in Monogastric Nutrition to help athletes understand and execute their fueling and hydration plans.
