About

Certification Date: 11/1/2015 She's been running since 2008 and doing triathlons since 2009. She knows what it's like to start from the beginning. She did her first triathlon not knowing how to swim and riding a mountain bike. Since the start of her athlete career, I've embraced the sport with a huge passion. She's been on the board of tri clubs, hosted many tri clinics, race directed and is looked to for guidance by fellow athletes daily. She tries to be an ambassador for the sport but remaining dedicated and involved in the community in person and through social media. **Jessica.Baxter@TriDot.com**

Philosophy

As an IRONMAN certified coach, my biggest goal is to help you reach your full potential by strengthening mental and physical weaknesses and taking full advantage of your strengths. One of my favorite mottos is, You never fail. You either win or learn. Every aspect of training is a learning experience and I help you get the most out of it. I set you up using the most advanced training system in the industry, TriDot. As a mom, wife, coach and athlete myself, I know what it's like to juggle busy schedules. With the help of TriDot, I deliver better quality and improved results in up to 30% less training time. I am also a believer that nutrition plays a big roll on the body as you train. If you're day to day and training nutrition isn't balanced, then you will not be able to perform to your full potential. I became a certified nutritionist so I could help athletes have the complete package and not have to play the guessing game. I offer standalone nutrition packages or discounted nutrition packages for those who also use my TriDot coaching services. As a mom, wife, athlete, nutritionist, and coach, I know how difficult it can be to juggle family, work, and training. I work with you to find balance in all of them. Keys to Success. Communication: Keeping communication open is key to a good coach/athlete relationship. It helps me to know what makes you tick. Knowing when to push you or back you off, as well as altering training schedules and intensities for travel, illness, life stresses, last min changes, work, etc will help you be the best you can be. Data: Use of data to enhance strengths and work on weaknesses. Is the data overwhelming? I'll help you learn over time. Breaking it down in a more manageable way. Fun: Helping you remember your why. Keeping you challenged, focused, and having fun. Balance: Family, friends, work, and training. I help be the best YOU that you can be by keeping that balance. Coaching Includes: - Dynamic training plan based on your skill level, genetics, environment, experience, and age. No two training plans are the same. - RaceX platform that predicts your finish time and updates as you improve throughout training. - Monitoring of all training - Feedback on critical weekly workouts - Personalized goals added to workouts - Unlimited communication - Sports nutrition guidance - Mental race prep - Race day strategy planning - Weekly schedule adjustments to fit your busy life - Run, bike, and swim form analysis - Scheduled calls as requested.

Experience

Since 2014, Jessica has coached people from their first triathlon, 5k, to their Ironman or Ultra. She mentors beginners to the elite by building their confidence and helping them find real solutions to obstacles such as nutrition, equipment, mental or physical. Jessica has been one of TriDot's founding master coaches since 2015. She is also a very dedicated and focused athlete herself whom understands the importance of having a coach to be objective and keep you focused. She races and coaches all distances from sprint tris to Ironman and ultra-running. She is a well-rounded coach because of her journey from beginner to podium. She also knows this is a privilege to train and race. I've had to overcome many adversities to get where I am now. I know the challenges faced with each distance. Keeping it fun and remembering your why is key. If you can't do it with a smile then why do it at all?
